Fitness for Everyone
Our FREE spin classes at Spin On The Island are different: they're geared towards all fitness levels. Whether you want to step out of your comfort zone, pick up new healthy habits, start from scratch, jump back in, or supplement your current fitness regime, our classes are for you! We offer modifications for every level, ensuring a challenging yet accessible workout. A huge thank you to Drummond Island Medical Center for providing free classes to the community!

Welcoming Environment
We ensure our classes are welcoming and accessible by fostering a judgment free environment. Everyone comes in at their own level and with their own goals, and you are encouraged to move at a pace that feels right for your body. While some may keep pace with the instructors, it is perfectly fine if you cannot.
Our classes are designed to be inclusive and supportive so everyone feels comfortable and motivated.

Your First Spin Class
What can you expect in a typical Spin On The Island class? We start with a warm up song and then move through a mix of songs with different paces and resistance levels. It is a full body workout that can be as intense as you like. Instructors offer pointers on form and movement as needed. Remember, you do not have to keep up with the instructor's pace if it feels too intense.
All bikes have 3 lb weights and resistance bands for arm workouts, which can be modified to your comfort level. We finish with a cool down song and stretching. New spinners will sign waivers, and we will adjust everyone's bike before we start. Enjoy the fun funky lighting and fans to keep cool.
Please wear comfortable workout clothes, carry your indoor shoes in with you, and bring water and a towel.
